Simple sympathy card.

The other day I was playing around with my stamps and colors to see what I could come up with. I found my Hero Arts Musical Collage Design Block. I love this background stamp. It covers a whole A2 card and then some. I wanted to create a background that wasn't too dark and somber with vibrant colors (while I wait for my order of Distress Oxides to arrive). I used Brilliance Archival Pigment Pearlescent Coral and Orange. I waited till they were dry then smudged in Wendy Vecchi's Archival Ink in Tea Rose. I then printed with the stamp using Brilliance Archival Pigment Pearlescent Chocolate.
Since I wanted to get more out of my dies, Memory Box Tall Chloe Stem and regular Cloe Stem, I first cut them out with brown craft foam, used them to stamp the background in Wendy Vecchi's Archival Ink in Hydrangea then flipped them to use on the card itself. Once satisfied with the result I added Glossy Accents all over the stems to give it more depth.
I finished everything off using Lawn Fawn's Stitch Rectangles with gray cardstock and a sentiment stamp that I don't remember where it came from....sorry. I've had it forever!
Enjoy!

Lisa
